Cello lessons

At the Australian Academy of Music, cello lessons epitomise excellence in musical education. Students embark on a transformative journey guided by experienced instructors who instill a passion for the instrument. Within the Academy's nurturing environment, learners of all levels hone their skills, from mastering basic techniques to refining advanced repertoire.

Through personalised instruction tailored to each student's needs, aspiring cellists develop a strong foundation in music theory and technique. The Academy fosters a supportive community where students collaborate, perform, and inspire one another. With a rich musical tradition, the Academy of Music is the premier destination for cello enthusiasts to flourish and excel.

Lessons are available in 15min, 30min, 45min and 60min durations and are one-on-one private lessons. We also run programs putting students together to form bands and other musical groups. Contact us if you are interested in hearing more.

All of our lessons are private one on one lessons typically 30 mins long. We do also offer group courses in songwriting, music production and home recording and distribution.

We accept cash, Visa, MasterCard, and Direct Debit but feel free to contact us for other payment options.

Our lessons are delivered based on what you want to achieve, how you best learn or want to learn - "Music Your Way". We want to help you set goals and then tailor the lessons to work towards those goals.

We have yearly events that are considered large scale but low key. These include the end of year Gala performance - a showcase of as many students as possible to show what they have achieved for the year.

We also have many events at local venues on the Northside that encourage live performance for all types of musicians and groups. 

It's different for everyone but one thing we do know is that creating deadlines for exams, performances or to complete a full song is the best way to accelerate your learning. It helps you focus and when you do achieve the goal there is nothing better.
