Bassoon lessons

At the Australian Academy of Music, bassoon lessons offer an enriching journey into the realm of woodwind excellence. With our instructors support, students embark on a dynamic exploration of this captivating instrument. From beginners to advanced players, each individual is nurtured in a supportive environment that fosters growth and musical expression.

Through personalised instruction tailored to their unique abilities, students delve into fundamental techniques, musical theory, and repertoire spanning classical to contemporary genres. The Academy's commitment to excellence, coupled with its state-of-the-art facilities, provides aspiring bassoonists with the perfect platform to cultivate their craft and realise their musical aspirations.

Lessons are available in 15min, 30min, 45min and 60min durations and are one-on-one private lessons. We also run programs putting students together to form bands and other musical groups. Contact us if you are interested in hearing more.

All of our lessons are private one on one lessons typically 30 mins long. We do also offer group courses in songwriting, music production and home recording and distribution.

We accept cash, Visa, MasterCard, and Direct Debit but feel free to contact us for other payment options.

Our lessons are delivered based on what you want to achieve, how you best learn or want to learn - "Music Your Way". We want to help you set goals and then tailor the lessons to work towards those goals.

We have yearly events that are considered large scale but low key. These include the end of year Gala performance - a showcase of as many students as possible to show what they have achieved for the year.

We also have many events at local venues on the Northside that encourage live performance for all types of musicians and groups. 

It's different for everyone but one thing we do know is that creating deadlines for exams, performances or to complete a full song is the best way to accelerate your learning. It helps you focus and when you do achieve the goal there is nothing better.
